ABOUT US

Sharon Hatfield launched Surface Experts of Northern Virginia-East in early 2021. She brings 25 years of experience working in C-suite executive positions at major multifamily management companies throughout the United States including RPM Living, Greystar, and Archstone.

After spending most of her career in the commercial real estate industry and living “on the road”, Sharon decided to leave the corporate world and start a company in Virginia built around the successful values and creeds that she used as the foundation for her other ventures. With past oversight of all business verticals such as HR, Marketing, Training, Facilities, Maintenance/Construction, Business Development, and Operations, she wanted to take all that she learned from large institutions and marry it with the grounded nature of a humble, “family-feeling” company. Sharon has been recognized publicly for developing strong leadership teams, and is known for driving employee engagement, building award-winning cultures, and developing expert leaders. She wanted to build yet another diverse team in a multifamily service business unlike any other in the Virginia/DC market.
